And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ –Ephesians 4:11-12
Concord Friends is very fortunate to have a pastor such as Greg Creed. He keeps very busy not only with his sermons but he also conducts weddings, funerals, visits the sick, sometimes even taking them to the doctor. He goes with the youth on their outings to the mountains and the youth mission trip to MOWA Choctaw Indian Reservation in Alabama. He assists people by transporting them to and from the church from the local nursing home. He heads up our ball team and coaches his own children’s teams. He sends out reminder calls for all Concord events and attends Quarterly Meeting. He heads up our annual golf tournament, helps with the men’s projects like cutting trees, cooking BBQ, fish and Christmas shoulders. He also helps cook the monthly community breakfast. He offers new membership classes, spiritual gift classes, works with Bible school, hot dogs sales, and attends as many committee meetings as possible.

His unique blend of training, experiences, and service provides a background that God has used for local ministry through Concord Friends.
We also feel very proud to have a pastor who is a true messenger of God. He has a work ethic and drive that is rare and we are blessed at Concord that he is willing to be led of God to shepherd the congregation and to care for and love each of us. He holds down a full time job outside of the ministry but he also cares for his congregation with the love and compassion of a full time pastor and his messages each Sunday leave us blessed and ready to go for another week. He has a way of making each member feel special and he rarely misses an opportunity to show us his concern and caring attitude in our times of trouble, sickness and disappointment. We are blessed to have him as our leader and we thank God each day for our pastor and good friend Greg Creed.
